Charvel Desolation DS-1 ST Single Cut Question

I am thinking of going out this weekend to try these guitars out. Can someone who has one let me know how the upper fret access is like. I have been reading in the reviews on different sites that on the Single Cuts it is not good.I really like the looks of the Single Cut. I am also going to try the Charvel Desolation DX1ST Soloist, and the Charvel Desolation DST1ST Star. Should be a good Saturday!
