I've been looking forward to getting this one for a few weeks now. I got this one from a guy I met over on the Charvel facebook page, Jimi. He is the guitarist for a NYC band by the name of Rawson:

He is a Jackson and Charvel player and we had talked a lot about this guitar over the past year or so. I've owned two before and foolishly let both of them go. This is the first one of this color that I have seen. Some of you may know which one I'm talking about. I'll take some pics when I get home today and give it a wipe down and post them later today. 4pm seems to be taking forever to get here. Fuck it, I'm the boss, I'm leaving now....

Burgandy Mist Charvel Model 7!!! Missing the truss rod cover and has an autograph on the rear (not sure who the sig is, just waiting on confirmation from Jimi). No matter the sig, I'm going to remove it. Any suggestions on what will take it off? The signature and the missing truss rod cover were not disclosed. It has some dings and clear coat cracks, most notably the 4 inch feather-type clear crack near the tone knob. The neck has been sanded and oiled and feels freaking great. I'll take more pics hopefully tomorrow after I get her strung up. Here are a few cell pics for now:

No matter the sig, I'm going to remove it. Any suggestions on what will take it off?

I'm not sure how far the permanent marker will penetrate... but you could get some turtle wax and a cloth and try to rub it out. If it doesn't seep very far at all any regular guitar polish will probably do. I would test on a junker if you have one first, see what works.

I don't know what to say, if explained to me I would say "not my cup of tea" , but looking at it, I love it! Just awesome, if she plays/feels half as good as she looks, you got quite the deal man. Congrats
