    NGD- Another score!!

    Hey guys...posted here a few months back with a killer score on a real deal 90 Jackson "Pro" Fusion...Ive been doing just fine with that guitar and my USA Flame up Charvel. I walk into Sam Ash yesterday and.....DAMN!! I couldnt pass this baby up! 499 out the door with the killer SKB case and all the candy. Sold as new with warranty-It sounds and plays just as well as my MIA Charvel- If you havent seen this finish in person, the pics dont do it justice. Just too good of a deal!! FWIW- The dude who rang me up said they were blowing out all Dead Calm Aqua MIJ's this weekend- Said there were three left in the US- No idea where they are but check your Sam Ash's out if your after one of these.....

        Sam Ash had that same sale a year ago when I got my #4. Mine has a flamed maple neck - I couldn't pass it up. These sound great as well.

        In fact I know it was mid August last year because it was around my son's birthday so I told the wife it was for him. He loves green

          That is crazy that they are blowing out the quilted maple models like that. Nice score!


          Too funny, I just today got a dreamcicle wildcard #6 for $499 from the sam ash in Torrance. They had it listed for 699, and I knew it had been there for about six months at that price, so I went in there to bargain, hoping for 600, but I just got the manager talking, and it did have a small ding on the front clear that I pointed out, so when he offered it within 5 minutes at 499, that was it. And the case they come with is really nice.


          I would post pics but you've seen these guitars. Not as top shelf as the quilted ones, but still pretty cool. Candy Tangerine with the matching headstock, single coil in the neck, and ebony fretboard. The fit and finish and feel is excellent. Can't wait to get it roaring out of the amp. The only thing I will change is to put Grover chrome locking tuners on it, and Schaller strap locks.

            I would have a hard time not buying one of these at $500, assuming it played and sounded good.
