Model 4 Refinish

I aquired this Model 4 while trying to finish up my Model 5 project.It was in pretty bad shape so I decided to try my hand at painting one.Never done it before but what the hell I figured if I fuck it up I would just send to Mike learn and have him do it.I think it turned out ok for my first one.

thanks. No spray paint. I shot it with urethane.

Looks great. In my humble opinion (which is usually wrong) I would have liked to see a white logo on it. Or even kept the period non-matching black headstock. That colour is awesome though.

Car paint can make some things look great. I had a computer case once that I had a car shop spray up with some high end Porsche blue paint they had left over after doing some body work. It looked really cool and classy when at the time, all the rage for slicking up PCs was throwing more LED's and clear windows in the case.

I definately wanted the black logo with the black hardware. I've always been a fan of the matching headstock so I figured I would do it on this one. I still need to wire it up. Can't wait to hear what the Bare Knuckle pups sound like in her.
