There was never.. a 3M.... it's parts.... necks off a Model Series 4M and the body is a story. Either a Model 3, or even a 1C, body that was RErouted out to accomodate the unoriginal trem. Whatever it is, it's 1988 parts in both cases. Candy Apple Red = 1988 only. 4M necks = 1988 only.

The guy is in Texas somewhere. Spoke to him last week and he claimed it's a very rare Model 2C, which is so rare it never existed))))

This is the one you are referring to. I thought maybe the guy just didn't know what he was talking about with the Model 2C. Thanks for then info guys. I will stay away from this one.

I kind of thought the same thing.I might have to go take a look at this one.He's asking $200 for it.

parts (neck and trem looks like 590 schaller) would be worth that! Might be a great player too?

I bet it's a japanese market 375. There was a 375 with a maple fretboard but it had the toothpaste logo in the usa but it would have had the old logo.

My guess is model 1C with added stringlock and trem change/rout. Possibly a refin too. Or foreign market guitar.
