Model4 vs model6 simple question

I used to think neckthroughs sustain better. Now that I owned a couple vintage Ibanez JEMs including an 87 and 88 i know that is is not so.

Seriously, I don't think I care any more. I sort of like the neck thru better, but I have equal amounts of each and play each about the same amount. I did have an issue where I refused to pay more than $500 for a bolt on, but I've picked up a ProMod and a USA Custom Ibanez and broke that amount, and I'd consider spending more than any of my J/C guitars on that ESP Lynch Kami. Damn I want that guitar but not for $1800.

I'm not exactly sure when, but whne the Model 6 got the toothpaste logo and locking nut (not string lock) and a few other enhancements, it was renamed the 650XL.

There are a few non-US Market Model series with the Floyd nut and the Charvel guitar logo. I've seen both Model 6 and 650XL's with the Floyd nut and Charvel guitar logo.
