How much would you pay for an unplayed, mint condition model 4 that's been sitting in it's case for 26 years?

Curious question
"You have a pud..your wife has a face. Next time she bitches..I'd play cock bongos on her cheeks..all four of them!" - Bill Z.
I just just had a sudden urge to sugga dick..! If I wore that guitar and didn't suck male genitalia..somethin' is very wrong! - Bill Z.Tags: None

More info. 26 years implies an '86, which means it has a low serial, how low tho? Lower the serial the more it's worth, etc. Perhaps having even more impact on price is body color. Certain colors worth more than others, RED being the booby prize and worth least.
Give us the serial# and other details and I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions on worth.Mitch

Yeah. Sorry, I should have given more info. It's kinda cool but that price is a little out there. I've just never seen one in that condition."You have a pud..your wife has a face. Next time she bitches..I'd play cock bongos on her cheeks..all four of them!" - Bill Z.

I think you could get more than $400 for it. Just depends on the the buyer. I think true mint condition Model series are getting harder and harder to find. I just paid $300 for a blue model 2in very good condition with charvel case. I just don't see them out there much anymore. I think some people get this $200-300 price stuck in their heads as there used to be tons of these around. I am not saying they will be collectors items, I do think $400 for a mint mod #4 is a screaming deal. What's $400 going to get you today. The build quality of these is right on par with the USA Production series (now discontinued) in my opinion.750XL Cherry Sunburst
375DX Metallic black
Model 2 blue
Model 2 Red
USA Candy Apple Red San Dimas
USA Slime Green San Dimas
MIJ ProMod Candy Blue San Dimas
Gibson Les Pauls
PRS SC-250
