I'd guess these go for 899.99 or about. Maybe $950.00.Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

I've given up on Charvels now. The pro mods were their swan song as far as I'm concerned. Obviously if I ran into some cash I'd get a CS or Demartini or Music zoo number like a heartbeat but for me now the only route seems to be used USA pro mod or USA reissue pointy neck or Musikraft, try a plek job with a refret and an aftermarket body. That gets me what I want anyway. I can always scrawl 'Charvel' in biro on the headstock.
No way I'm hanging out for a Pro mod now, even if they are made in Mexico and up to MIM Strat playability. It's just cheaper to do it this way and you get what you want.
Too much money for not enough spec. Simple as that for me.
For $900, I'd rather pay a bit more and get a used Jackson USA or a bit less and get a quilt top mahogany KNE body with a USA neck refretted by my luthier.Last edited by ginsambo; 01-13-2013, 11:31 AM.You can't really be jealous of something you can't fathom.
