On the Pro Mod homepage of the Charvel website they say it's an Original. On the Spec's page they list it as a Special. I think that's a mistake where someone got lazy and did a cut and paste job. Really mixed feelings on these. Between the recessed trem and the pricing, I can't see ever having any interest in them. Why would anyone want a Made in Mexico model when they can pick up a used USA or Japanese(with a case) model for less ? I feel like Tom Hanks in the movie "Big" where he's going "I don't get it".
One positive thing though, between the recessed trem and Charvel logo with no "Made in Country", at least these things won't be easy to take apart and atempt to build fake USA's out of.Comment
