Should I make my Pro Mod San Dimas a Tiger Print Guitar?

I have been thinking a lot about it. I have the Polar White San Dimas so it would be a White Tiger print, not to be confused with a Zebra print. Since I don't have skills at refinishing or airbrushing I was thinking of using electrical tape for the stripes, it also means if I got bored I could take the tape off and make it back to normal.

Just thought I'd get some second opinions from you guys.

It would probably be very time consuming, look ridiculous & not last very long. It's your guitar, give it a go & see.

As you said, if it fails, it's easy to remove.

I am accumulating my supplies and will be painting so projects shortly (first time since 1990). Back then I painted my Bengals because I couldn't afford them. Now, I have a Bengal SL2H and a White Bengal DK2M.

You could try using synthetic commercial paint, sticks like shite to a blanket to my Ford Transit with minimal prep, other than that, as with all these things, unless you strip and start over, it will probably come out bad on the poly finish.
There was a blinged up Pro Mod mutt in the classified that had orange electrical tape stripes on it that looked very effective. Hmmm....yeah...I didn't buy it.

I wouldn't harm the white body too much, they are quite $$$'s desirable. Easier to get another body made up for you if you want to go permanent

Hugspaint (Nu-Agane) on Ebay can mix you some pre catalysed basecoat paints in an HPLV simulating aerosol can.

You can buy a vinyl black bengal stripe kit for your guitar off eBay for like $25. Very durable, looks pretty good and is easy to take off when you don't want it anymore. I used it on an old Model 2 I refinished in a royal blue, put the stripes on and cleared over the top. Looks pretty damn good! I wouldn't screw with your original finish...use the decals...

Yeah I meant black on white. Lol.

I won't be harming the body in any way, I was thinking of just using electrical tape for the stripes, I don't want to respray it, I wouldn't wanna ruin it. And it also means if I get bored of it I can take the stripes off without a problem.
