  • Pro Mod Wildcards - No More?

From the Charvel website update, looks like with the move to Mexico they will no longer offer periodic Pro Mod Wildcard models? Seems like the new H-S hardtail is a "regular" production model, not a special wildcard.

So no more wildcards at all? If so, really disappointing. Was really hoping for something like a seafoam green SoCal, white pickguard and PUs, chrome hardware. Preferably H-S. ..Too bad.

    I'm not sure.
Bionic mentioned something about wildcards coming back, but I've not heard much yet.
Chances are they will do FSR's here and there.

It's very curious then, that these were introduced several months ago, have been promoted vigorously, had all spec details released, etc. But nothing but crickets about possible wild cards. Just doesn't seem to make much sense.

As far as I know, the new pro mods still aren't available quite yet, and their return was only still rumors until just before the NAMM show. It seems to me that lately Charvel likes to wait until the very last minute to announce new products. Hell, they only just updated their website a couple of days ago. Just give it time.

shit remember the usa limited ones announced very late and put together before the paint was even properly dry(all those lovely stuck backplates). since they did say April and now it's June something is not going to plan. I personally won't buy one of these until I've played one and since the Chicago stores which mostly is made up of sam ash and guitar centers (who don't stock them) it will be a while.
