Congrats!!!! She is a beauty and looks extra killer against the black leather couch!! LOL I have the same exact guitar and I LOVE it! Nothing beats a Charvel neck and this guitar is a prime example. Split coil on it would be a cool option, there is a guy who gives lessons on Youtube (Robert Baker ) with the same guitar that he did that too. Anyway, keep on rocking and enjoy it.

Cool. I like my AS SDX as-is with the H-S-S, but I do like the H-H look better.

I t wasn´t purely swap for looks,I just didn´t feel comfortable with Ad Smith neck..This is more in my hand, only thet coil split and straplocks comes in mind to do.Anybody have A solid formula on coil split materials in this particular model? That Baker´s video was somekind of kick to do that and the difference in these hums compared Super dist in Ad Smith, witch I liked A lot..

Odd. I have a MIJ and a SDX AS (both maple fretboard). I like both.

                    Really?

The maple board SDX has heavily rolled edges for something cheap MII.
