**This is a direct copy from my sevenstring dot org post. Any help with parts would be appreciated.**
Found this on craigslist for $450. '87 Model 6. The body, paint and frets are in excellent condition for a 26 year old guitar. No significant belt rash, just the usual fine scratches here and there. The only significant ding is on the headstock. I am going to try to get it back in original shape, enjoy it for a while and then probably sell it. It needs a whammy bar and a lock block on the trem. A modified schaller bar from fretsonthenet will work for the whammy, but I can't seem to locate an original lock block yet. Unfortunately someone removed the JE1200 circuit, so I will be on the lookout for one of those. It has a duncan SH-1 in the bridge (ugh, the gold.... why?) and everything else has been bypassed out. Fortunately the original J-50BC was included, but I will need to rewire everything. It plays like a dream and the trem has relatively little corrosion, only a bit on the fine tuners. The body is nice and dense, which I prefer and it sustains forever. I can't wait to get it into shape, but waiting on parts is so stinking slow.... anyway enjoy the picks. Sorry for the quality, all I have is my phone right now.
