  • Need help identifying a Charvel (or is it a parts guitar?)

I recently bought a guitar off a guy that "looks" like a Charvel Strat with a H-S-S and floyd rose setup. Front input jack. The floyd is from a Washburn. The headstock says "Charvel" but that may be faked. The neck is birdseye maple with a maple fretboard and dots that look like pearl. It appears to have dimarzio pickups, so that is no help. The neck plate would suggest it is a newer "made in japan" model. Serial is JC10000152.
I will post pictures later when I get home, but any ideas?

Sounds like you have a 2011 Charvel ProMod neck plate and that's it.

Neck should be quartersawn and not birdseye. Flamed maple would be ok. Need pictures. Charvel logo should say Made in Japan under the Charvel. Dots should be black on a maple fretboard.

HSS doesn't sound right either unless it is a wildcard.

No ideas without pictures. Just wasting time taking guesses.

I was way off. No made in japan under the charvel logo. Neck is actually a Warmoth. Body is routed for hsh pickups and was converted to a Floyd.
