Help with another ID

Looks like a model 4, however the body seems to have the lower cutaway of a fusion. Also pretty sure it is a refin, but wanted some expert opinions. So with that said, what do we have here?

I've never seen that cavity cover on a Charvel.

no idea. Model 4 never had those controls or Charvel pickups. None of the Models had 24 fret bolt-on necks. Plus the control cavity looks hinky.

It might be a Japanese market-only precursor to the Jackson Fusion SS. It shares quite a bit in common with the SS, but they didn't come along until the early 90s. Plus they continued to use the old Charvel logo in Japan well after the rest of the world had moved on to the toothpaste logo

Have you measured the scale length? Are there any markings in the neck pocket or on the neck heel?

Thanks everyone...got it figured out. Its a refinished Charvette body and hardware with a Charvel neck and plate. Cavity cover is what sealed the deal so thanks for putting me on that trail.

Not all Fusions have the cutaway, and there are also quite a few Dinkies that do have it.

Yeah, those charvel branded pickups scream charvette. I also have that trem and pickups on a mid 90's cx series charvel with the beak headstock. Looks like a charvette fusion with a charvel logoed headstock. Does it intonate? Is the body the same scale as the neck? The korean made jackson ps-3s of the same era have a similar weird control rout.
