  • Model 1 earvana nut

This guitars intonation was always awful with open strings, after much examination I concluded the fret board was cut too long, so the nut to 1st fret distance was too great. The earvana retrofit, that I had to install with the offset top plate mounting holes, to the fret side, is at full adjustment to shorten the length. The nut to 1st fret is now very accurate, however I cant get the 12th fret on the 4th string to octave as accurately as the rest, but this has little effect on playing. Took an age to setup............
Now I can play all manner of chords and sound in good tune.
Would have liked a new scratch plate, but cant find one, fender is a little different it seems.
EMG SA and SPC the essential mid boost are fitted too.
Guitar plays great on 11's with the usual low action!
Sorry cant post pictures yet !
7 Charvels and a load of other stuff.

You may notice the strings a little to the bass side, but thats how i roll................
You need nut files etc to finish off properly, so for most its a pro job only.
