I took the neck off one of my Charvel Model 4's from '86 with the Kahler for a clean up etc.
I noticed the stamp in the neck pocket of the body is 'Charvel 4D', but the stamp on the heel of the neck is '4E'
Is that normal or are they originall from 2 different guitars? The neck is a Model 4 because it has abalone dot markers instead of white like the Model 1,2 or 3.
