Thought you said you ruined it in the other thread. Looks pretty dang good to me!
Any way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?

Ha, Thanks, I was just saying I ruined it by not being able to figure out the wiring of the stock pickups and mid boost control

Soon after I bought my M5 new in the late '80s, I put a dimarzio fred PU at the bridge. I also extended the pole pieces of one of the coils by the bridge, and added another single coil under it. I spent some time making a wiring diagram that would work for my switching desires, and a few tweaks to make it really work. Even what used to be a tone control actually blends in that extra single coil in any switch position. That pot is also a push/pull version to split the neck HB.

Very cool! I need to find something to do with the now just fake control with what use to be the mid-boost.

Nice. Now, if you want it to sound even better, swap the pickups around and put the 85 in the bridge with the 81 in the neck.

Sweet M5. I had the same dilemma with my Robins' Egg strat and added a SPC control. They are easy to install and product some nice new tones.

                    EDIT: linky

Thx! That RPC and EXG might be options too, but I don't have experience with those. I've got an EMG 81 in there, and the SPC is useful with it. On another guitar, I went with the Afterburner. That was a medium output passive pup though, I really can't see pairing an Afterburner with a monster pup like the EMG 81.

Did the 18v mod to the emg's very easy and big difference.
