750 XL Pickups

    +1 for the Full Shred in the bridge - the bass is tight on this pickup and sounds bright with clear treble. I'd go for a Duncan '59 in the neck if you want more contrast to the bridge Full Shred ('59 is very smooth with great articulation, which should cater for the blues side of your playing). If not, go for a bridge and neck Full Shred, you won't be disappointed.

    The dark sound of my '91 Soloist Archtop Pro was just too big and full on for me. Shame, as the Soloist Archtop and 750XL are brilliant guitars - I cannot remember which member has a purple 750XL but it's a real peach.
