Charvel Model 6 Wiring Diagram

I have an original charvel model 6 with floyd rose. Only problem is the original electronics and pickups are in a box...I need a diagram to wire it up.

I have J-50B bucker and 2 J-200 single coils and mid boost (j-1200???) It has three toggles and three pots, should be volume, tone and mid boost. Also, are these pickups active or just the mid boost? They have the plastic cover that looks like emg style but I don't know how to test this. Reason I ask is I might just keep the single coils and put in an EMG for the bucker.

Any gearheads got an answer?

The Jackson pick ups are passive not active.
The J-50 is a nice mid range out put pick up more akin to a PAF.
The J-200's are designed to use the active mid boost circuit and with out it they are very dark sounding.
There is a wiring diagram on here somewhere just do a search and I'm sure you will find it.

So I found this diagram on a jacksonguitar.ru site...of all places...My guitar has HSS configuration, and it notes that the jack is a stereo jack. Can anyone shed any light on this? How does the stereo jack work on the setup? I am also a little confused about how the volume control is wired here. Does the signal flow from the JE1200 to the volume pot or vice versa?

I don't think my 6 has a stereo jack and it's all stock.
Looks like their HSS diagram is also for a 5-way switch vs 3mini toggles.

I'll try to get a clear pic of the cavity this evening for you.
I know my volume pot is hard soldered to that circuit board.

The stereo jack is used like with EMG's
To turn on the active circuit, when you plug the Jack in it completes the circuit and turns the electronics on (in this case the mid-boost, for emgs the pickups pre-amps)
This is why you should remove the cable from you guitar (when not in use) to preserve battery life in guitars with active electronics powered by a battery

Ralph yes! That makes total sense now. The one thing I hate about active electronics they always seem to die in the middle of a song. I wonder if I could wire a bypass switch. I am seriously thinking about ditching the tone knob and putting in a rotary super switch. I never liked the toggles except for having a kill switch. Then one toggle for mid boost bypass and one for a kill switch. I will probably end up making a royal mess of it!

Here's a fairly broken up one on eBay that's still a little more intact than yours. Also shows the jack pretty well.

I don't mind the toggles because I rarely switched between pickups on mine. Bridge on, middle & neck off.
