Hi there!
Bought my first Charvel guitar recently, and I like it lots! Plays very nicely, love the neck. Hardly any fret wear. There are a few dings/knocks on the guitar, but overall pretty good condition.
I am pretty sure it's a 475 (are 475s always special, or is there a 475 and a 475 special version?)
With your superior experience and knowledge, can you guys confirm that this is what I have, and is it all standard?
The only thing that seems a little different is that it has a switch to switch in the battery, which I think is for the tone system. Do you think the switch has been added by someone?
I am used to having standard strats, so tone control is a bit different for me - how do you guys get on with the active tone system?
Also, can you tell what year the guitar is from? From the information I have gained from the internet, I would guess around 1990? Sound about right?
Anyway, I bought it in the UK for £170, which I think is a good deal.
