Yep, about the same cost as the Jap Pro Mods but without the case...just a gig bag now...

Most gig bags suck but the ones that came with the usa promods were pretty decent to me. The other ones that I have liked are the ones that come with the SE PRSs
Why would a guitar come with a gig bag? Isn't that something someone would buy because they like them? A hard shell case just makes more sense to me anyway.

Well most of the guitars people buy suck ass, so it seems apropos that they should carry them around in ass-suckin' gig bags.

I don't really like the idea of a gig bag especially for a guitar with an angled headstock. Storage in a closet or a hanging rack maybe but not for any kind of travel or serious protection.
Any way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?
To carry a Les Paul (or most any guitar, for that matter), I have more trust in a Reunion Blues Continental or Mono M80 gig bag than I do a hardshell case.
General comment or are you referring to the Pro Mod series from Charvel?
General non-Jackson/Charvel comment. Pro Mods rock!

The Gibson gig bags are nice very soft and plush inside and you can buy them all day long for next to nothing.

Really? My LP hard case is one of these
I can't imagine a gig bag offering better protection.
As far as for my Charvels, I'd love another chainsaw for my SDK. It'll fit in my Model 6 case but is a little loose.
