Fender Neckplate and Screws Fit a Charvel Model 4?

I have a another Model 4 project going and all i need now is a neck plate. The Charvel originals cost silly bucks, so i was wondering if the standard Fender plate and screws fit the 80's Charvels.

There are two Model series neck plates on eBay right now or $60 and others that range from $80-$100. They're not hard to find and they can be had on the cheap.

The plates work fine but the screws are thicker than standard fender screws and kinda hard to find. That is assuming you are using a model series neck. If not then the fender screws are fine but will fit loosely in the holes of the body leaving room for possible neck shifting.

Just get a model series plate of ebay ans save the fit hassles.

Damn, i thought the Fender would work. Looks like i will have to bite the bullet on the Charvel plate then.
