Just curious to the neck pocket specs of the 2013-Current MIM Pro Mod/So-Cal series guitars, My MIJ Pro Mod is 2 1/4 but I have heard talk the Mexican Factory uses a 2 3/16th pocket to standardize and reduce costs of retooling. just trying to get a definitive answer. I'm thinking of buying a So-Cal body and putting a fender neck but only if I don't have to Shim it because I want a option other than Maple and Charvel Rosewood necks almost never come up on eBay. Thanks in advance.
