1992 Japan only Charvel GM750 guitar

You Japanese Charvel experts here I have a few questions for you. In the US Charvels section a link to a UK Ebay item revealed a 1992 Japan only Charvel called the GM (Gary Moore) 750 of which only 200 were apparently made for Japan only.
These were produced in the Chusin Gakki factory and they came originally with black hardware.
I have never ever heard of this series of signature model guitars and I know quite a few things related to Gary Moore!

Either they came this yellowed white color or it has aged from a brighter white to this color.
Made of an ash body does anyone know about or has heard of these before?













This is a mystery guitar to me and I wish I could afford to buy it as it has identical specs to the real guitar it is replicating!
Hope someone has heard of this rare Japan only series!!

Left you is not introduced about two times before Charvel Japan of GARY MOORE MODEL now that charvel GM-750 that I own, but this is something that you buy impulse certainly 22-3 years ago.
At first, was equipped with a pick-up of Jackson. (EMG Ppoku black cover is attached.)
But, the sound is not like it at all, and was replaced in the last year finally Seymour Duncan TB-4 (wide pitch type of JB).
And then, it was still become a very good sound.

But, I look to cheap something this guitar .... I will see the difference when compare with real photos of the right of GARY?
So, of Floyd Rose color, mine is black .... This is, I think that to produce a somehow cheapness.
In, another. After all, do not do there is something of the presence What EMG? (Laughs)

Whole atmosphere is to leave Well Well. These two points .... No where in the comments will Sashihikaeyo (laughs)

Color and matching head color of the body is burned yellowish or rather indeed ivory in aging. First I'm was a genuine like whiteness, this is unbearably! !

###Information on this model is limited, so we contacted other owners of this model, and learned that this particular model was called "GM-750" in Japan back then. (As a matter of fact, this guitar is stamped "GM" in the neck pocket.

I have been in contact with the seller and I need to sell my remaining of two Heritage Gary Moore signature models to come up with the cash. I have a good friend in London who can ship it to me. I know the price is on the high end but the seller imported it from Japan last year and it did originally come with black hardware for some reason, they all did.
Nice guy and I am in geetar wrangling mode we'll see what happens!

I am trying my hardest, it would mean parting with a very rare, much rarer than this guitar but I am a fool in love, got it bad!! I was sent more pics, it has a swimming pool central route. It is a beautiful guitar that's for sure.

Got some more pictures from the seller. It has a Charvel neck plate that reads #341600 P.O. Box 2344, Fort Worth 76113 USA. Maybe when he replaced the tuners and OFR he used a US neck plate or is that correct for a Japan only guitar??

The Ft. Worth plates are correct for import (Made in Japan) Charvel guitars.

Very, very rare Charvel. I dunno how much you're gonna pay, but I'd say it's worth easy $1.2k. I wasn't aware of that model, but they made a J.E.Lee, in 93 I think.

I knew a guy about a decade ago from ebay... we always bid each other up, one day decided to chat him up and after talking a while, he asked me if I'd ever seen one showed me the Jake. I offered $1500 for it in like 2001 or 2002 and he kinda laughed and said he wasn't interested in selling.

So the price is kinda the price. You're paying for a non-market Charvel with the really rare MIJ strathead with skunk stripe. You just never see them ever.


It should have come with a non-market Charvel plate. Maybe they just grabbed the wrong one off a stack or something or were trying to use up the rest of them or whatever. I wouldn't discount the guitar because of it.

You know the sellers wife wouldn't let him relist it same as my wife put the kabosh on my selling any of mine! What would we do without wives?
On a positive note I learned about these ultra rare models and now that you mention it came across the Jake E Lee in my research as well.
I would have never known about this Gary Moore model. I have been promised it if he ever decides to sell. I was actually happy for him as I couldn't bare to have to sell any more guitars and am now on a fixed income SSD so my GAS isn't an issue anymore!

There are a pictures of other guitars of the GM750 model I have posted. All the originals came with black hardware for some reason. The one I was going to buy was changed to a Charvel/Schaller OFR and had a Jackson/Charvel proper batter clip fitted by the owner.
The guitar is in incredible shape and I was so close.. oh well. Cool to find it! Here is what Mark said:

thanks for your messages through ebay, I have got some more pics including some of a Japanese guy with his GM750. I got these from youtube stills.

The pick up cavity is what I believe they call a 'swimming pool' route, all open with two deeper grooves along each side. You can just make these out in the pic of the battery.

The battery was held in place with 'hook and loop' tape but since that pic was taken it is now in an official Charvel Jackson battery clip ( in the same place as before ) There is even a proper little rout where it lives. The Japanese have an eye for detail !!

The wood is listed as 'Japanese Sen' which apparently is their equivalent of Ash !!??

I appreciate you would like this guitar and I would prefer it to go to a genuine fan of Gary's instead of someone who just wants to sell it on for a 'fast buck' so if it doesn't sell this time around I would be willing to wait a short while to see if you can buy it before re-listing it on Ebay.

I played it again tonight after work as I don't normally play guitars I have up for sale and it is a really rewarding guitar to play, nice low action with tons of sustain and even 'unplugged' it's louder than other guitars I have.

If by a 14 million to 1 chance ( the actual odds of winning the Lotto over here! ) I win the lottery I will keep this guitar as its in the top 3 guitars I have ever owned but with it being the most valuable one I have it really has to go to fund repairs to my house : (

Yes it is! Yesterday was Gary Moore's birthday April 4 1952. Here is a clip that demonstrates a master with a masterful instrument. This is what all the fuss is about.
