All of the non-market guitars are rare.

that's right, I got you message, it's all MIJ for Japan is rare. the only thing, - is it any good, does anyone needs it. is it worth something.
same with 750xl, only the feedback of the owner makes it rare and valuable. if we discuss the price of 750xl on this thread and pretend that 750xl is worth 3000usd, someone will take it serious. you dont have a lot of sources of the information about 750xl, and jcf online is the main one

Rare doesn't necessarily mean more valuable. Some of the 650xl in gold or platinum finishes get $1000+... Some of them are rare enough to where they sell for what they sell for because there aren't enough of them to accurately price them. And many people just don't know about them either.

When something is "Rare" it usually means not many where produced which usually does increase value over the production models. So I disagree with the mainstream of grab ass guitar collectors or broke ass tire kickers that want someone's relic for nothing. If you're not willing to research it and have no facts to support that claim(meaning actual production numbers, spec, good luck with that as to the great record keeping they've done) or fact check an eBay seller, get ready to lose your ass, because everything is "rare" on the bay including getting what you actually paid for . But for the most part, I feel "Rare doesn't mean valuable" is driven by guitar collectors and a term/tactic used to de-value someone's property, and that's all I got to say about that

yuhhh. dificult to understand the whole speech, english is not my mother tongue and the sentences are too big, but your point is clear. Would like to add, if you have 10cents, they worth 10cents. If you have each produced coin of 10 cents from 1900 till 2015, it's worth thousands, that's called collection
by the way one for sale in US, if someone is looking for 750xl:

I believe NO,except jackson infinity pro 1992, as far as we can see on audiozone:

Even the holly graal Jackson limited archtop 1991, had a mapple neck.
by the way, if someone has Jackson limited archtop 1991 MIJ for sale, pls contact me.

Had a Silverflake 750XL long ago. It smelled like Nestle Quick coco mix. It look cool. It played cool. Didn't sound that cool thru any of my amps then. Could be a dud, that happens with anything, even chicks. I traded it for a Boogie Mrk III. I wished I kept the Boogie.

I still got the wife tho.... Whatever , whoever could possibly endure 31 years of my insanity. Must be Medusa!

So as I am the lucky owner of both of them: charvel sla-160 and charvel 750xl, let me put some clarification on visible difference. (sound review later)
SLA-160 is slimmer body than the 750xl
                        SLA-160 has a mahogany neck, 750xl doesn't.
