Charvel Neck Question

I bought a used 2013 Charvel So Cal. The neck has the Skunk Stripe. I noticed the skunk stripe feels just a tiny bit raised. It is not totally flush. It's not bad or anything it just has a tiny raised edge. Do all these Charvels feel like that? If so, I will feel better! LOL. My brother just bought a Fender Standard Stratocaster and it has the skunk stripe. But it is totally flush. You cannot feel it is there.

It should be flush, but humidity effects different kinds of woods differently and this can happen. humidity has more effect on necks that are not sealed with nitro or such. shouldn't really be a problem if it doesn't bother you when playing it. it may take care of itself.

yeah i'd just leave it for a little while and see if it settles down. If it doesn't then it is an easy sanding job to fix it and re-oil the neck
