Hi guys,
First post from a (hopefully) Charvel player to be.
I've played plenty of different guitars through the years. Fenders, ESPs, Ibanez, Wolfgangs (Peavey) and currently I'm playing a Gibson SG 120th Anniversary and a Gibson Les Paul Traditional with the band. We're a swedish metal band, tuned in B, some times drop A.
I like the overall feel of the Gibsons, but what I've learned throughout the years is that I prefer 25.5" scale and a straight profile. I also really like alder bodies, compound radius, hardtails, passive pickups and for that matter, locking tuners. With the news in the Pro Mod line-up, the easily adjusted neck (like on my old Wolfgangs), the no-load tone control and the awesome stock pickups the Pro Mod HT seems perfect for me.
I hope to be able to try them soon, but I want to know if any of you have played them in low tunings, thicker strings etc.
Anyone?
