My Charvel So Cals.
The black one I bought in parts, missing the trem and some other parts. Since I`m no fan of black hardware, I bought a Gotoh 1996 and changed the other hardware to chrome (sans the tuners but they`re in the mail somewhere across the pond). Great guitar, really nice and smooth feel on the neck. The DiMarzios are really good for this kinda guitar.
I liked the first one so much that I bought another one just a week ago. I`m a fan of Gary Moore so I just had to do the Moorefication. Still waiting for a chrome Gotoh 1996 and chrome Grovers but they`re on its way. I little rougher feel on the neck but some steel wool and gun stock oil will probably cure that. A little fatter neck than the black one but still easy on the fingers.
I`m used to fatter necks, I`m mainly a Gibson player with 58`and 59`style necks but I had no problems adapting to those skinny ones on the Charvels. Floyds on the other hands takes some time getting used to.. Been playing for 25 years but these guitars are my firsts with floyds
