I'd asked in this thread after I'd won the auction hoping it was someone from here that may have had more info on the guitar. I was also a little nervous about the packaging/shipping but had no need to worry. The PO did an outstanding job of keeping it from moving in the case, then packing up the case in a box with plenty of protection.
First impression. Opening the case was like in Pulp Fiction when they'd open Marsellus Wallace's briefcase. The golden glow of the Holy Grail! Pictures do not do justice.
This thing is heavy, feels solid and the neck is chunky like my Les Paul.
Plays great, I'll need a little time to adjust from playing the SDK all the time. It's set up pretty well but I can not wait to get this set up where I want it (10s, springs silenced, give the cavities and electronics a once over) and put it through an amp!
