First of excellent playing and not to mention some of my favorite songs from the 80's, nice work man
What amp are you using, it sounds great.
I've been saying it since they came out which I own 2 of them and want to add a 3rd. I have the San Dimas HT and a So Cal 2016 models. The 6 pack of sound is fantastic except for the fact that you can't play both hum buckers in one of the Middle positions. I don't like the Down Middle position split coil sound but the Up position is usable for me at least.
I have a 2013 San Dimas HT and I absolutely LOVE the Middle posistion with Both Humbuckers ( I replaced the Classic stack single coil with a Lil59, it's killer)

thanks dude! I'm using the Fractal AxeFx2, all you're hearing in the video was recorded going straight into cubase via USB! I love the middle position for clean sounds, but I can't imagine using it with distortion that often
I use the Middle position on clean channel stuff with the 2016's and my 2013.

Hey Rocco, nice to see you here. Great playing, as always. The guitar looks great with the gold hardware. Be careful, Charvels and Jacksons can become a bad habit, especially for the type of stuff you play.
Mantis, as you heard in the right hands they can sound amazing. And just like any real amp, in the wrong hands they can sound horrible.
Feel is so subjective really, but I don't notice any latency myself and to me it 'feels' like playing a real amp. Really the the only way to know if it's for you is to try it. The beauty of it is if you are a full stack guy, you can run it with an external power amp and your cabs. Me, I'm a "Studio quality tones at moderate volumes." guy so I run mine FRFR. Still feels great to me, but I've never been a "have a couple 4x12s behind me flapping my pants" guy, so maybe something might be missing there for someone that was.
They do have a 14 day return policy if you want to give one a spin. I'd recommend reading the manual or watching some vids on creating presets and such to make sure that side of it is familiar before it arrives. Check out Rocco's channel for lots more sample vids, I believe he uses his Axe FX direct for most of them. Plus his bud Vale can sing his ass off.GTWGITS! - RacerX
