as Hellbat said, it really depends on how you set it up. If you wanna have the "amp feel", just run it through a power amp and a 4x12 and BAM you'll have an arsenal of amazing amp heads to choose from, I guarantee you won't feel the difference. However, If you use it in a studio setting (as I do) you gotta get used to hear the sound coming through a pair of studio monitors, much like if you were in a control room in a professional recording studio and your amp was mic'ed up in the other room. Once you understand how this works you can come up with some killer tones and play with them at super low volumes at 2am without having the police at your door(try to do that with a plexi lol)! I still love tube amps don't get me wrong, but the Fractal stuff sounds phenomenal and it's way more practical

You've got a great sounding setup there, and wicked playing skills. I've been thinking about one of these Charvels for a while, and you make a good case for picking one up!

Congrats on the sweet axe and great playing!

Just wondering... What's the classical-sounding bit you play at 5:39 (right after VH's 'Finish What You Started')??? I've heard it before but can't remember what it is, and now it's bugging me!

Ive said this a few times now and I'm gonna say it again as I feel it's well worth it.
These 2016 Model Pro Mod guitars are fantastic, all of them. act model is done very well, play great , sound great and give you that Charvel feel we all have loved from the 80's.
For the money I can't see buying anything else. Even at full asking retail price they are a true value.
One thing I had issues with when they first came out was finding a place to go play one. All the local dealers near me didn't put any models on the floor. I had to travel but it was well worth it.
I own 2 of them and plan at least 2 to 4 more.

Just got my So Cal from Sweetwater. I am loving this beast. I was really shopping for a Demartini sig for a while, but I gave this a spin and was sold. I've heard some complaints about fret ends and what have you, but but mine is damn near perfect. Couldn't be happier.

it seems like every so often one comes out with bad fret ends. I was at CMC Guitars in New Jersey and they had about 6 or 7 on the floor or more. Only 1 of them had a few ruff frets ends but they take care of that before you get it. They have a killer Luther there who does incredible work.
When I purchased my first 2016 model, it came right out of the box there and it was slighty out of tune and didn't feel quite right. The Luther there took it and in like 5 minutes he had it tweaked and playing amazing. The fret ends on both of mine are perfect like silk.
