Charvel 650XL necks

I was browsing through internet and I noticed that couple of times there was a mention (on this board) that the 650XL's (and probably Model -series's too) had flat sawn necks instead of quarter sawn. Can anyone confirm if that's true?

I would also like to know if the specs of the 650XL neck are same as the Soloist's at that time. Especially the nut width, what was that?

They are period correct. But there are differences depending on what you are actually comparing it to.

One example would be the super thin neck on my 86 Strat, 87 Model 6, and 88 Soloist,
versus
the much thicker neck on my 87 Model 6, 88 Strat, and 89 Soloist.
