Cool, thanks. Does the neck joint actually work? How are they in terms of quality compared to MIJ, MIA, and previous MIM models?

It really doesn't take much to improve the feeling of a neck heel over a standard squared end with a neck plate. Just a little off the corner like the Fender Deluxe is really good enough. The recessed and angled neck plates are better, but not really by a whole lot, IMO.
