I just received this guitar (really like it!) and I'm in the process of setting it up. I'm close, but the action is still just a bit higher than I like. I notice that the locking nut is on the high side and I'm wondering if there is a shim under it. Has anyone taken off the nut?
Also, I'm curious if the Floyds are shimmed properly on these. It should be set at about 20-21 inch radius to compensate for the compound neck. So as shim under the A and B, and double shims under the E strings.
What string height have others settled on?
