750xl Alert

I saw not 1 but 2 Charvel 750xl's today in my local Guitar Center. My guess went to 10 then back down to 0 when I learned both had been refinished. One was purple sparkle dirt bike metal flake, the other was a Zebra pattern head to toe.

GC purchased the purple one yesterday but didn't know it had been refinished. Apparently they have a policy about not purchasing refinished guitars so when they learned the zebra stripe one today had been refinished also they did not make an offer and the owner left the store with it. At least that's what they told me after the guy left. Price wise all I know is he told GC they could get $1,500 to $2,000 for the zebra stripe, it was a hard tail by the way. So I'm guessing his price was below $1,500. They have not listed the purple one for sale I just checked the store, North Portland, OR.
