Hello all
Had and old cheap humbucker in my garage with an alnico 5 mag in it.I decided I would experiment by swapping out the ceramic mag of the evo for the alnico 5.
I like it, lows are dark but have a chime to them.Leads are more rounded and way more sweeter.Overall its got a way more classic sound.I really love this guitar before, but this mod has made me love it even more.
The evo come with the guitar(socal MIJ),Im happy with the tone zone but has anyone installed a SUHR SSV in the bridge of a pro-mod? If so how's it compare to the tone zone and hows it sound in the guitar?
