Wondering if I did something wrong....

I never really played my 475 before I took it apart and rebuilt it.... But I was playing my 88 mod 1c and the 475 back to back and the 475 doesnt have half the balls the 1C does. I did not mess with any amp settings (jvm205) and the 475 had a fresh battery..

could I have soldered the humbucker up to the switch wrong? everything works right when using the switch.....

Stock pickups?

The 475 has a J50 vs the Model 1's J90. The J90C is way more ballsy and has more output. That is probably the biggest chunk of it.
