What do you think of the Fishman Fluence pickups? Are they really quiet? What do you think of their “vibe”?

Super quiet pickups. They also have punch and cut through the mix. Very clear under gain as well.

I think Satchel himself also had JBs in his Kramer guitars before switching to Fishmans in his Kramers and then straight to Fishmans in his Charvels.

It's a joke that even passed inspection, yes their small things but that neck pocket was done pretty shitty, looks like it wasn't even cut right and how does that even happen? The CNC machines cut all the wood.

That is an expensive guitar, I don't blame you for contacting them. I am sure when you get the new one someone will make sure their are ZERO issues with it and it's perfect.

And did they ask you to send it back or do you get to keep it? Would be awesome if they just send you another one...

They sent me a label to return ship to them. I still had to provide box and packing materials though (minor suck). They gave me a tee shirt and some other goodies. I feel they handled this perfectly.
