In the '89 catalog, they list trans purple as a finish option, but no trans blue. Of the 2 I've seen, they sure look more blue than purple to me.

Dave, Jacksonwolf posted some scans of catalogs a while back. His site is awesome, and I hope he'll forgive me for posting a direct link. A few pages of the '89 catalog are still up on this page.
