Yep ... I do not personally care for the graphic either. Seems to me that I see quite a few 650s being advertised as model 6's on ebay lately.

The graphic reminds me of the graphics from an old C64 or early IBM adventure game, like Police Quest or Under a Killing Moon. Sorry, that was the first thing I thought of.

Interestingly, Fender had a guitar at NAMM, based on the pics from Newc, of a Tele with a cracked brickwork graphic.

What is that?? It's like the paint's cracked away and underneath you have this treasure trove of Milk Duds or something.

As far as the 650XL and Model 6, I've gotta say, they're in the same ballpark. It's not like they advertised it as a San Dimas. No need to nail their tits to the wall.

the idea for the graphic is cool, but the execution stinks, so it not good IMO

That's pretty much what I was going to say. It's a neat idea, but IMHO it could have been done much better.
