I like it, but I can't quite get the thing set up. I use 10 50 gauge string and can't get the action lowered without huge buzzes at the 1st fret. Other than that, I like it.

you might need a nut shim for string gauges that high, or a little more relief in the neck. I would imagine that they came setup for 9's from the factory, so y0u may need a little teaking of the truss rod.

Yeah, I have been playing a bit with the neck. I think I have it dialed in right. I like a bit of a higher action so its a bit easier to set one up.

Nice 475 man. The 475 is a very nice guitar and a total screamer. I love bolt ons, and it has one of my favorite necks of all time (25.5" scale, 22 frets and extra jumbos [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] )and is a great looking guitar.

I bought mine at the peak of the grunge craze...err phase.....in 1993 for $335+tax. LOL those fools had it strung up with what felt like 4 year old crusty strings and a lousy setup, but I could still feel and to a lesser extent hear the quality. After I took her home and did a full setup with DR Tite Fits I was in awe. [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] Total shred monster, very nice!! Just a year or two earlier they were selling in catalogs for $800++ during the remains of the metal years, and mine was in mint condition, I just had to be patient and keep combing the stores. I still do that from time to time looking for deals.
