I've got one that is in like new condition that I may be interested in selling. The Model A Plus, with the Duncan PG and lil' SD pickups. Cobalt Blue. PM if interested.

One of the admins will be along soon and wipe him out.

As far as the older models of Charvels go, the only options were maple and rosewood. They left the ebony stuff for the USA models.

Yeah, but I believe they happened after they started shifting the Charvel models to Jackson equivalents. I could be wrong though.

I was not aware that this violated the rules, I'll not mention it again.

No but I remember that auction and I emailed the guy too. I wanted to stop by and check out the guitars (I work in Cedar Rapids) and I never got a reply from him.

How are the model A's there is a cheap one at a store in Quebec? It has a gorgeous natural-pink quilt top. They said the neck have the feel of a SD... is it true...

                Re: Ebony Boards

I have two and I'm looking for more. They are supposed to be a replica of the san dimas neck style. The model A with the Live Wire pickups will have no clean sound. They are too hot to get a good clean sound out of.

How cheap is the one your looking at? What color is it? Is it a model A or A Plus?

                Good Luck, Mike.

                    Re: Ebony Boards

I paid around $400 US for both of mine, which was a great deal. I've seen them go for $400 - $600 on the bay. Nothing over $600 though. $700 seems a little high. You could do better on ebay. Or try talking them down a bit.
