Rainbow crackle

I know there are several different rainbow crackle finishes that were done 86-90 on the model series and some fusion guitars.IIRC red/white/blue,red/orange/blue,red/yellow/blue and there was a difference in between the colors. Some bled into each other and some did not.I recall selling a 90s fusion and I got a premium price just because of the definition between the colors.Does any one recall any thing ?

The only rainbows I've seen were red/yellow/blue.

The predator was 1 hum J-90c and 1 dual blade single tilted in the neck with reversed headstock and small script logo right?I know where a 93 is.Its a pearl white metallic.

Correct on the specs of the Predator, but they were only made 90-91. Small detail, I know, but I like to keep 'em straight.

I've got its predecessor (Model 3DR) in Orange Firecrackle. It's beautiful!!!

Thanks Tekky the ser # starts 93xxxx and has a Shaller floyd.I'm going to go pick it up today.This one is very clean and worth the 200.00 w/ohsc IMO.I have a model 2 in the same color.How could I tell if it is a 90 or 91 are there any obvious differences?

Are the predators the same as the 3dr?

Some predators have popped up on the bay recently.
Did they ever make a predator with a maple fingerboard?

More or less. There are a couple of differences, but yes in essence, they're practically the same guitar.

no obvious differences in the years on the Predators as far as I know.. Joe might have some more info on that.
