Another Model 6 ! Check it !!

Check out this Model 6 I just got ! It's virtually MINT besides a pencil point nick at the rear of the headstock point. This thing plays GREAT ! It has a Dimarzio humbucker and an HS2 for the middle and an HS3 for the neck. All pickups sound great and the action is fast on the Louisville Slugger type neck ! Here's a few pics ! I was never a big fan of firecrackle finishes. But you can sure bet that model 6 sounds kickazz! Congrats.

Any idea what kind of Dimarzio HB that is? I've used several of their pickups with good results. My current fav is the Fred.

Congrats! I don't usually like firecrackle either, but the red and black firecrackle looks killer!

I looked underneath the humbucker and all it said was Dimarzio Co. or so. It has 12 Allen type screws on the top, so who knows. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

How is the output balance between the HS-2/3 and the DiMarzio?

Hi and Congrats!

When you look underneath the HB,
does it say a model name like DP XXX or alike? they usually mention it that way...

They usually have this black look all over it... I did notice that some have a clear chrome color where the magents lay like my Bridge Norton on my 375,
and some have a black color...

I never actually investigated this matter...

It's a killer guitar! one of my favorites...

Actually, the black single coil had the red cover and the red had a yellow cover minutes before I snapped the shot. What I'd like is a black cover to swap out the red. The pickups sound great though. I can't wait to get home to play it again. [img]/images/graemlins/band.gif[/img]
