Switches, we don\'t need no stinkin switches....

Now...how about them switches? I can't deal with the stock setup because I KNOW I will turn the guitar off in the middle of a solo or something (doh!). So here's how I have mine wired:

The front (bridge) switch is now a coil-tap. The rear (neck) switch switches between the neck and bridge and the middle is on-off. I wired the neck and middle pups to the middle tone and the bridge to the bridge tone and they all go through the volume with 500k pots w/330p treble bypass cap. This is a very cool setup. Anybody else mess with the switches?

      I have a 5 way blade in mine. I hated the 3 on/off switches.

Let's see some pics of those blade switches! I was afraid to do it in this guitar because it's so nice but I just bought another one so who knows

                Keith, agreed

I am tied up at the moment finishing up our new CD. Ty Tabor from King's X is going to master it for us and I have to get it to him in the next couple of weeks and still have work to do. After that, I'm open.

I love the switches! What's funny is I got a Dinky body from a friend of Jim Shine's last year... it's some kind of Musician's Friend "exclusive" Dinky Reverse from around '97. It's H/S/S with a five-way switch that was up higher for easier pinky reach (like an Ibanez) and I'm having WarriorX7 refin it, fill in the five-way and put in the three on/offs.
