Switches, we don\'t need no stinkin switches....
Now...how about them switches? I can't deal with the stock setup because I KNOW I will turn the guitar off in the middle of a solo or something (doh!). So here's how I have mine wired:
The front (bridge) switch is now a coil-tap. The rear (neck) switch switches between the neck and bridge and the middle is on-off. I wired the neck and middle pups to the middle tone and the bridge to the bridge tone and they all go through the volume with 500k pots w/330p treble bypass cap. This is a very cool setup. Anybody else mess with the switches?
