Actually, the restoration is complete.

While Frankencat has been tweaking and modding his recent Model 6 arrival, I've just finished going the other direction with my recent model 6 arrival: the Fred is gone and the original hum reinstalled, and I've rewired the boost. I haven't wired in the tone yet, but I'm not in any rush to.

Oh, and thanks AGAIN to Dave / Budman: he not only turned me (us) onto the auction where I bought it, but he also helped with the correct pot values for the volume and midboost when using the active. I would have just put in 250K or 500K without knowing better, and he set me straight!
