I just got another 3DR and I'm amazed at how great these guitars are ! Here are a couple of not-so-great pics !

Is the 3DR a full on Dinky? It doesn't look quite right to me. Anyway - nice axe.

The 3DR is pretty much the prototype for the dinky body. The horns are shorter than the current dinky that we all know and love.

I had one for a little while, I really just wanted the neck and I sold the body to a forum member and put the neck on a model 1 body. I prefer full size strat bodies. that neck is nice too!

I have a 275DLX which is basically the same as a 3DR but no reversed headstock and the bridge pickup is slanted and the neck is straight. It is my favorite. I wore out the trem and I need to replace it.

The 89 275DLX has a 3-way blade switch. The 90-91 275 has the 5-way switch like the 3DR and Predator.

I'm definitely a 3DR fan. I think all of mine have been sold to other JCFers (and I trust they've found good homes!) They are one of the best model series IMHO. I was just getting ready to post on my 3DR "project guitar" when I saw this! I guess I kinda hacked this one up but after all, they're only imports! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
