What's the difference between a Model 1 and Model 2? And the Model 3 is the one with the pickguard, right?

Model 1a
V trem, pick guard and three singles.

Model 1 No pick guard
v trem, 1 hum

Model 1c I believe 88 only
v trem 1 hum and 2 singles no pick guard, notice the whole v trem thing.

Model 2 (no pick guards on any year production)
86 1 hum and a Kahler fulcrum (these are the best model 2s)

87,88 I hum JT6 trem.

Model 3
86 model 3 pick guard i hum, 2 singles kahler fulcrun.
86 model 3a pick guard 2 hums, kahler fulcrum.

87-88 model 3 1 hum, 2 singles and a JT6 no pickguard
87-88 model 3a 2 hums, JT6 no pick guard.
88 model 3DR 1hum, 1 slanted neck single reverse headstock, JT6, no pickguard

Tekky could probably give you even more detail. This is just the basics.

The one with the JT-6 was better because it could be easily replaced by the infinitely better Original Floyd Rose. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
