Re: Help info about this elec/acoustic
I have a black one of these. They are actually pretty good! Basically a 'model' series Charvel type neck bolted on an acoustic body. The body is pretty thin, only a couple inches thick. The neck will feel similar to your model 2. Action is very close to electric guitar feel. Acoustic tone is pretty good (it's not as good as a 'real' full body acoustic, not as good as a Korean-made Ovation, but decent enough), plugged in tone sounds like most other piezo pickup active acoustic/electric guitars (ie pretty good too). They usually go for around $125 to $150. A good way to start if you have only electric guitars and want to 'dabble' in doing a few acoustic numbers thru your amp without spending a lot of $. I'll try to remember to dig it out when I get home and see if I can add anything to my comments.

Re: Help info about this elec/acoustic
OK, I dug mine out. I was right, body is 2-1/16" thick, the neck is basically an electric neck held on with a normal neck plate w/4 screws. Trus rod adjustment at nut like a normal model series neck. Normal Charvel tuners.
Neck width at nut = 1.70"
Neck width at 3rd fret = 1.77, thickness is .75"
Neck width at 12th fret = 2.06", thickness is .85"
Serial number starts with a "90", so it's probably from 1990.
I have 9 gauge normal electric strings on it, so it feels just like a normal electric.
The acoustic sound is a little thin due to the thin body (with the electric strings on it mine has a sound that has a little ukelele flavor to it acoustically). Again, sounds better thru an amp.
I couldn't find any of these on ebay or gbase, but found this, which is pretty similar, but Charvel branded, and sounds better and I believe has a built-in chorus.
